NASA has recently regained communication with Voyager 1, the most distant human-made object located 15.1 billion miles away. The Voyager probes, launched in 1977, continue to surpass their expected lifespans, venturing into the unknown realms of interstellar space… More here.

It was launched 2 years before the first Sony Walkman, 3 years before the Compact Disc and 14 years before the internet went public. And it still works. Incredible…
