A surge in donations to the RNLI

Nigel Farage has defended comments suggesting that the RNLI has been operating as a taxi service for illegal immigrants.

Speaking on his GB News segment the former UKIPer said the Royal Navy should be stepping in to return migrant boats to French ports, reiterating his belief that it is not the charity’s responsibility to save their lives.

Great to see donations jump because of the criticism the RNLI has been receiving for saving lives. The charitable organisation is being criticised for saving the lives of people who are the wrong colour and that is shameful. Good will always win.
