Is the future completely virtual?

This tweet is amazing. It demos Apple Vision Pro and how it ‘sticks’ different screens and apps in various places within a home.

I did not realise that it could work this way, but imagine a time when something much more advanced than Vision Pro, and as small as a normal pair of glasses, can create environments for you in many places such as home, the office and other places.

A while back I said to my wife that at one point we would no longer own paper books, CDs or DVDs and we don’t anymore. If we moved house tomorrow the cloud would follow us to wherever we go, and it makes me wonder just how many material things we will need in our houses as the technology improves.
