Great news! @AmazonUK has got back to me about the £700 iPhone they failed to deliver (and wouldn't refund or replace)
Bad news, what they told me... 😞 Watch my video
Based on this experience, why would anyone buy anything expensive from Amazon ever again? The full tweet and video is here.
I would be shocked had I not had this recent experience buying an iPhone from Amazon.
What Graham’s experience highlights, however, is that Amazon’s customer service is now so automated that even when he can prove that it was not delivered, he has a Ring doorbell, the company still refuses to give him his money back.
It is truly awful behaviour on so many levels.
I'm sure buy and large, but recently I've noticed how EASY returns are, at least around here:
1. save the box
2. put it back in the box
3. bring it to local Whole Foods grocery store
4. fire up app, ask for return, show QR to service desk person
Wow! I haven’t had anything like this.
