Everyone loves Ren (12-70)
Ren Gill has a gift, a very unusual gift that I have not seen before. He is a genius, of that I have no doubt, and is capable of being musically, lyrically and visually original in a way that I have not seen before, but it dawned on me at the weekend that he is not constrained by a fanbase that fits into a particular segment.
I was walking my dog at the weekend and bumped into a really nice guy I have seen a few times. We had a chat as my Cockapoo played with his Lakeland Terriers and we got talking about music and specifically Queen. After a while he asked if I had heard of Ren and explained that he is amazingly talented. This man was 70 years old and completely taken by Ren’s talent.
My 20 year old daughter discovered Ren before I did and she adores him, and a lady at work told me a while back that her 13 year old son loves his music and videos.
Add to this my wife and I, early 50’s, and it shows that he truly does have a gift. He is so good that age does not seem to be a factor for his fans and I truly hope that he has a long time to continue amazing us with his wonderful and varied talents.
I forgot about him!
