Everything affects everyone
The recent budget where are desperate government tried to persuade us that 2p off national insurance is a good thing summed up everything that is wrong with them.
Taxes are going up by stealth through more people being dragged into the 40% rate and through council tax, and our country is falling apart around us.
GP appointments are hard to get
Dental appointments are almost impossible for many
The roads are crumbling (potholes all over the place)
Crime is up, shoplifting is endemic
Hospitals are overflowing
Ambulances are not arriving in time
So many people using food banks and going cold
Sewage is in our streams, rivers and beaches
And I could go on for a very long time...
2p off national insurance is the best they can offer as a pre-election bribe? Seriously, call it now, lose badly and let the work of fixing all of the above begin.
At the moment all the government is doing is trying to make it as difficult as possible for the next government to fix things. They are happy to let the country continue to fail and for millions of people to suffer.
It's so sad.
