Fitbit is feeling the hurt
Fitbit, which preceded Apple in the wearables field, has reported its latest quarterly earnings — and they’re not as good as hoped for. Fitbit’s smartwatch revenue decreased 27% year-over-year. That was partly due to “weaker than expected” sales of the Fitbit Versa Lite Edition... More here.
I still wear a Fitbit, but won't be for long. I am well aware of the inaccurate tracking, poor software reliability and pretty awful support the company offers (just my experience).
The Apple Watch, on the surface, offers everything Fitbit doesn't to the general public and will win in the end.
