TWO People Have Been Cured Of HIV: Castillejo wasn't cured by the anti-retroviral therapy he was on. He was cured by a stem cell treatment he received for cancer, which he also had. The stem cells he received from a donor carried a mutation called CCR5-delta 32 that gave him his HIV resistance. This might be the best Buy One, Get One Free deal in recorded human history... An Iceland store in Northern Ireland will open its doors exclusively to the elderly so they can make purchases during the coronavirus pandemic. The supermarket in the Kennedy Centre, West Belfast, announced it would let older customers inside from 8-9am starting Tuesday. It said in a statement: ‘Iceland Foods will be opening their store between 8-9am for the elderly commencing Tuesday 17th March. ‘Could the wider public please respect this hour, and understand that this time is allocated for elderly people only... The French luxury group, which is best-known in the watch world for its brands TAG Heuer, Zenith, Bvlgari, and Tiffany & Co, will now utilize three of its perfume and makeup production sites to make hand sanitizer. The product will be distributed free-of-charge to French hospitals fighting the country’s coronavirus outbreak... More here.

WORKERS at a Scottish corner shop are handing out "coronavirus kits" to vulnerable people to help stop the spread of Covid-19.
Shop owners Asiyah Javed and her husband Jawad have been putting together bags with soap, hand gel and masks to hand out to elderly people around the Falkirk area... More here.
