Ireland's contact-tracing app success
Since launching on 6 July, the Covid Tracker app was downloaded 1.3m times in eight days – the fastest-downloaded app per capita in Europe – and has started picking up cases of infection.

I am not in Ireland so cannot take advantage of it, but I downloaded it a couple of week ago and the design is quite brilliant. It is simple, obvious and presents lots of data in the cleanest way possible. And in the UK will still have nothing, that is sad.
