It went to the moon, James Bond wore it. Who cares?

Is it just me who is turned off by the thought of a watch being special because the same model went to the moon? Is it just me who feels even more turned off because a fictional film character wore it?

I just don’t get the idea of watches that are marketed this way and most of the time it actually feels quite childish to want a watch for these reasons. You are not an astronaut, you are not James Bond (no one is). Grow up!:)
