Self-indulgent in the extreme

My prediction in this podcast episode appears unlikely to come true. It would appear that our limit for what is acceptable behaviour is stretching all of the time and the bar just keeps getting higher. Fuel shortages, many thousands of unnecessary deaths, thousands and thousands pushed into poverty and multiple business struggling. None of it matters, his poll ratings keep improving. What the hell is going on?
