So many questions, so many answers

So little sense...

The US says Israel may have used American-supplied weapons in breach of international humanitarian law in some instances during the war in Gaza.

It is "reasonable to assess" that those arms have been used in ways "inconsistent" with Israel's obligations, says the state department.

But it added that the US did not have complete information in its assessment and that shipments could continue… More here.

And yet we are nowhere near the response that Russia received when it invaded Ukraine.

Politicians of all stripes are scared of uttering any criticism of Israel at this time and the ones that do are shut down instantly.

Students and thousands of others are protesting against Israel, some of whom have little knowledge of the history and who seem to have forgotten about the actions of Hamas back in October.

Jews are being targeted for what their government has done. Russians were not targeted when Putin invaded Ukraine. Palestinians are not targeted because of what Hamas did.

It’s an un-winnable intellectual argument and an un-winnable war on both sides, and all of the rhetoric is just making every part of this more dangerous by the day.

The lack of thinking is bewildering…
