This Skindiver WT Automatic wristwatch features a black dial with "old radium" Super-LumiNova, the iconic hour arrow hand, a double dome sapphire glass and a 316L steel case - water resistant to 100m.
The Skindiver WT caught my eye because of the design and the price, which are both exceptional. The movement could be better, but this could be a worthy daily wear.
The watch is based on the Big Crown Pointer Date and pays tribute to Clemente's legacy through a number of visual cues, like the black and gold numerals inspired by Clemente's uniform. Additionally, there's a clever – and subtle – gold "21" date marker, while the rest are black. Twenty-one was Clemente's number, which the Pittsburgh Pirates have since retired.
