Voices of long Covid
When we get through all of this it will be interesting to see how big of a problem this is. I worry that it could be a very high number of people who are suffering long term effects, not to the point of destroying their lives, but no longer being able to do much of what they could do before.
2 months later I still cannot walk for 1 mile without wheezing badly at the end of it (a 15 minute walk when I could run 5k in December) and Jo has not run since she recovered (10k every 2 days was normal for her). We are still very lucky, but I do wonder if the long term effects for millions could mean a less fit and healthy population.
