Why isn't the iPhone 11 like the new iPad Pros?

It's a safe bet that Marques is showing what will be the iPhone 11 series of phones in the above video.

The question is, when was the last time you looked at a new iPhone and was impressed by the design itself rather than the new features? Even the iPhone X with no bezels followed a similar design pattern.

It would be nice to see a new iPhone with a form similar to the new iPads, that would look sweet.
