You can get too used to simplicity
When I show Obscura to someone, the first thing I get them to try is the Exposure Dial. Every time, I get to watch their eyes light up as they adjust the brightness and feel each increment of the dial as a haptic tap. It does so much to bridge the gap between smartphone and DSLR, and makes you feel in control, in the way a professional piece of equipment should... More here.
I can't imagine taking a photo that requires me to do anything more than open the Camera app and click a button after so many years using the stock iPhone camera app. If, however, I took the time to use an app like Obscura 4 I would get closer to using some the advanced camera hardware in my phone.
It's an example of Apple's intuitive software getting in the way of the advanced hardware.
