2000: About 10 years ago
2010: About 1,000 years ago
2016: About 10,000 years ago
2018: About 1,000 years ago

Our sense of time is obviously dictated by when we were born and by the major events that have happened in our lives, but to me 2000 does feel like 10 years ago and 2010 about 5. 1970 is hard to judge because that was the year I was born. How about you?
